Ever since Dierdre and I lived in the barn together for a few weeks while we battled to save her life and her udder from gangrene mastitis, I have felt very close to this stubborn, tough little doe. Now that she has no ability to give milk and we raise her kids together as well, I love her even more. In 2014, Dierdre gave me two beautiful doe kids, and I immediately decided I couldn't part with either one, even though I really should. Grainne freshened with a pretty udder and nice capacity.
