Julius *S |
Julius belongs to Bonnie Chandler of Fairlea Farm. He shares his dam with the phenomenal ARMCH Rosasharn's Eclipse 2*D 'E', and his sire with Eclipse's beautiful daughter, ARMCH Rosasharn's Buckwheat Honey 3*D 'E'. He is the sire of one of my favorite does of all time, MCH Fairlea Fleur *D E, and of her full sister, our own Fairlea Demitasse. Julius is a grandson of the under-appreciated Brush Creek Shiloh, who appears in the pedigrees of a surprising number of really nice goats, besides Eclipse and her daughter--in particular Stonewall's Midnight Cowboy and all of his descendants at Ceasar's Villa. Fleur's dam, MCH Fairlea Gretchen VG, and Calliope are very similar in both pedigree and udder structure, so I could not resist trying out the combination of Calli with Julius. |
