This doe is little more tightly line-bred than I really like (I should have thought a bit more carefully before I did this breeding), and has also been a bit slow to grow. But I really could not pass up her very unusual color...since neither of her parents is gold (and no, I didn't even have a gold buck or buck kid on the place when she was conceived), she can only be the extremely rare recessive red color. We had seen this color once before (Dragonfly M Aurora), out of a doe that was also related to Stonewall's Little Luli who was bred to our old man Maestro. I intend to AI this kid to Maestro at some point to see if I can reproduce this color. Her name comes from a type of small parrot native to Brazil. Like all of our Solaris daughters so far, she is lovely with a very sound udder.
